He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul J. Bentley and Audrey Bentley (Smith); and his sister MaryFrances Smith. He is survived by: his wife Myrtle Esther Wehlan; his children, Esthermay Goossen (Mark) and Davidjay Bentley (Nita); his siblings, Paul Bentley (Kathy), Daniel Bentley and Elvira Green (John); and his grandchildren, Jacob Bentley, Caleb Bentley (Katy), Jordan Bentley (Samantha), Eliana Bentley, Sharon Goossen, Timothy Goossen, Alisa Goossen, Selah Goossen and Shepard Goossen.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Calvary Lutheran Church to support missions.
