He was predeceased by: his sister Georgia Barnes; his father-in-law LaVerne Michels; and his brothers-in-law, Tom and Rick. He is survived by: his wife Melody; his children, Samantha Brandt (Jamie) of Clear Lake, WI, Stephanie Kelley (Shon), Angie Zarate (Jesus) and Dylan Golberg (Ally); his grandchildren, Logan, Charles, Elsie, Brier, J. J. and Grace; his parents, Gordon Barnes Sr. and Lois Kingbury (Lockwood); his siblings, Jack Barnes, Nancy Barnes, Barbie Barnes-Dickerson, Heidi Bungert (Jim) and Rebecca Barnes; his mother-in-law Gloria Michels; his siblings-in-law, Steve Michels (Jill), Marcia Ferguson, Monica Rollie (Bill), Margie Bednar (Dave), Michele Johnson, Marie Stewart (Mark) and Marlene LeBarron (Dave); and his friends, Dan and Ron. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Because of COVID restrictions, we will have a Celebration of Life for Gordy at a later date.
