Genevieve Arends Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 1, 2021, at the age of 92, Genevieve Arends of Austin, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Herschel Berning and Geneva Berning; her husband Norman Arends; her son Donavon Arends (Denise); and her siblings, Lindee Berning and Darlene Harvey.

She is survived by: her children, Janette Hovey (Wylie) of Rochester, MN, Star Johnson (Mory) of Austin, MN and Rodney Arends (Sandy) of Lonsdale, MN; her sister Geraldine Rindels of Rochester, MN; and her close friend Annette Quinlan of Austin, MN. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
