He was predeceased by: his parents, Fredrick Nerby and Ioane Nerby (Reimers); his brother Dean Nerby; and his brother-in-law Mark Loux. He is survived by: his wife Lani Nerby (Heise); his children, Shellie Wuertz (Tom), Chad Lewison (Kelli), Jeff Lewison (Amy) and Jason Johnson (Heidi); his grandchildren, Dresden Sondergaard, Megan Bostrom, Ashton Schneider, Stefanie Lewison, Madison Wagner, Madison Silva, Michael Lewison, Nicholas Lewison, Maya Wuertz and Molly Johnson; his great grandchildren, Beck, Violet, Ezra Bostrom, Audrey Wagner, Lennon Sondergaard, Joanna, Amelia, Henry Wenninger, Louisa Dutcher and Maxwell Lewison; and his siblings, Janice Penn (Steven), Eugene Nerby, Richard Nerby (Julie), Cynthia Loux and Donna Wolf (David).
