It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene Holst of Austin, Minnesota, who passed away on September 11, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Victor and Ruth; his grandson John Hatfield; and his nephew John F. Holst. He is survived by: his children, Michael Holst (Julianne) of Rochester, Daniel Holst (Julie) of Austin, Cheryl Holst (Steve Nelson) of Boca Raton and Natalie Holst of Austin; his grandchildren, Anna Bierly (Tim), Abby Ashbacher, Rachel Holst of Rochester, Samuel Holst (Amy) of Saint Peter, Jacob Holst (Samantha) of Dexter, Drew Hatfield, Clay Hatfield (Liz), Ross Hatfield, Thor Nelson and Wren Nelson of Florida; and his sister-in-law Ilah Holst of Rapid City. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
