He is survived by: his mother Carol Root (Scott); his wife Melissa Root; his children, Curtis Root, Megan Root and Isaiah Root; his grandson Kashton; his father Clarence "Dudley" Root; and his siblings, Lora Murray (Paul), Bill Root and Michelle Pinkava (Charles). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
