He was predeceased by: his parents, John Chapek and Theresa Chapek (Svejkovsky); his children-in-law, Lisa Chapek and Michael Turner; and his siblings, Alice, Elmer, Violet and Lillian.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene Chapek; his children, Randy Chapek, Douglas Chapek, Shawna Turner (Chris Jackson), John Chapek (Sandy) and Ann Chapek; his grandchildren, Carissa, Bradley, Lindsey, Andrew, Cortney, Reed and Serena; and his great grandchildren, Knox, Elowyn, Wyatt and Adam.
