He was predeceased by: his parents, John Loverink and Aradine Loverink (Higgins); and his siblings, John and Ruth. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Kay Bertelsen; his daughter Nancy Sappington (Robert) of Rochester; his grandsons, Benjamin Sappington of Rochester, Tyler Sappington (Holly) of Pine Island and Jacob Sappington of Rochester; his great grandchild Aubrey Buck Sappington of Rochester; and his sister Carolyn McShane of Austin.
