He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Peterson and Gladys Peterson (Seavey); his nephew Jeffery Ripple; and his siblings-in-law, Jim Miller and Tracy Miner.
He is survived by: his wife Rae Ann Peterson of Austin, Minnesota; his children, Sally Peterson (Brian Hughes) of Austin, Amy Peterson (Noah Aakre) of Austin, Minnesota and Clint Peterson of Austin, Minnesota; and his siblings, Kay Miller (Dale Nelson), Kathleen Bussian (Norman), Bonnie Ripple (Calvin), Marvin Peterson, Galen Peterson (Dorothy) and Roger Peterson (Dawn). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family would request that donations to local organizations be made in his name.
