He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Teigen and Pearl Teigen (Johnson); and his brothers, Calvin Teigen and Curtis Teigen. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Teigen of Austin, MN; his children, Cindy McCreery (Tom) of Venice, Chuck Teigen (Terezia) of Austin, MN and Jacque Thompson (Dave) of Austin, MN; his grandchildren, Lisa Leonard (Aaron), Brandon Kjome (Missy), Ray McCreery (Brianne), Aaron Kjome (Hosanna) and Hannah Thompson (Chris Nelson); his great grandchildren, Noah, Lauren, Olivia, Kiley, Noraa, Brady, Natty, Everly, Ryder, Paisleigh and Remy; and his sister-in-law Bonnie Teigen of Rugby.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Hormel Institute or Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Austin.
