He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Peterson and Helga Peterson (Oyen); his wife Patricia Buckman; his brother Color; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara and Merlin Grant.
He is survived by: his children, Charles Peterson (Susan) of Austin, MN, David Peterson (Cathy) of Rochester, MN, Thomas Peterson (Valeria) of Belle Plaine, MN and Beverly Snow (Jerry); his sister Constance Jean Grant of Preston, MN; and his sister-in-law Bev Morton of Rochester, MN.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
