He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Gilbertson and Enid Gilbertson (Finbraaten); his siblings, Curtis, Lawrence, Wayne, Arvid and Linda Sue; and his brothers-in-law, Bill Haberkorn and Don Peck.
He is survived by: his sisters, Claire Haberkorn of Ft. Collins, CO, Rose Peck of Prior Lake, MN and Sonja Sayler (Harlan) of Grand Forks, ND; his sisters-in-law, Janet Gilbertson of Anoka, MN, Mary Gilbertson of Austin, MN and Pauline Gilbertson (Pete) of St. Paul, MN; and his friend Linda Hoag. He is also survived by ten nieces and eight nephews and their children.
