He was predeceased by: his parents, Marlett Hines and Alma Hines (Christofferson); his son David; and his brothers, Keith Hines and Pete Hines.
He is survived by: his wife Pam (Kilgore); his children, Ryan Hines (Malinda) of Austin, Peter Hines (Tonya) of Owatonna and Sara Hines-McLain (Bill) of Austin, Minn; his grandchildren, Isabella, Charlotte, Evelyn and Jameson; his pet Bentley; his brothers, Jim Hines (Barb) and Mike Hines (Connie); and his sisters-in-law, Kathy Hines and Jennel Hines.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A burial was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Grandview Cemetery. A memorial service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Crane Community Chapel (1111 9th St NE, Austin, MN 55912).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Salvation Army, Austin, Minn., to help fight hunger and food insecurity in Mower County, the Angel Tree program, or Crane Community Chapel.
