It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Edwin Valdahl of Austin, Minnesota, who passed away on January 10, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Valdahl and Ethel Valdahl (Olds); and his wife Ardath Valdahl. He is survived by: his daughters, Wendy Voigt (Terry) of Hackensack and Mari Thies (Tony) of Iowa Falls, Iowa; his grandchildren, Kelly Howard (Mike), Kirsten Frederickson (Jeremy), Jaime Vieth (Jeff) and Brodie Thies; his great grandchildren, Brycen Vilmain, Kieran Howard, Soren Howard, Raina Howard, Arkyn Howard, Paxton Vieth, Emilia Vieth and Truett Vieth; and also David Valdahl (Barb) of Osprey, Florida..
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Austin.
