He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Overby and Mabel Overby (Hegge); his wife Wanda Overby; his son Randy; his daughter-in-law Linda Overby; his granddaughter Jessica Rae Overby; his sons-in-law, Bill Barnes and Lupe Castellanos; his siblings, Delores Helle, Jean Sullivan, Laurel Carpenter, Paul Overby and Charles Overby; and his parents-in-law, Melvin and Alice Thompson.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Castellanos, Kathy Barnes, Cindy McAlister (Rod), Peggy Nelson (Craig), Wendy Overby (Dwight), Tammy Overby, Jody Finnegan (Bill) and Eddy Overby; his siblings, Marion Lingbeck and Richard Overby; and his siblings-in-law, Nancy Tripp (Vern) and Danny Thompson (Carol). He is also survived by 28 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren.
