He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl "Hugo" Hanson and Lillian Hanson (Nelson); and his sisters, Doris Draayer and Bernice Jech. He is survived by: his wife Helen Neuenschwander; his daughters, Judy Hanson of Savage and Linda Ehmke of Austin; and his grandson Scott Ehmke.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grace Lutheran Church (2001 6th Ave SE, Austin, MN 55912). A memorial service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
