Betsy Ione Retterath Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betsy Ione Retterath of Austin, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 18, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Bjork and Mabel Bjork (Thorseth). She is survived by: her children, Brenda Jorgensen of Austin, Mark Retterath of Austin, Marcia Igou (Rick) of Dexter, Barry Retterath of Nashua, Becky Miller (Jim) of Riceville and Beth Wilson (David) of Austin, Minnesota; her grandchildren, Brittany Rikhus (Ben), Benjamin Jorgensen, Melissa Tschann (Marcus Ball), Danielle Tschann, Jason Igou, Samantha Peterson (Jonathan), Alicia Denner (Justin), Cassandra Lichty (Josh), Garret Retterath, Derek Miller, Morgan Foster (Brady), John Miller and Jordan Wilson; and her siblings, Ruth (Randy Schmidt), Joseph Bjork (Janet), Delano Bjork (Ramona) and Roger Bjork (Lila). She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Worlein-Hoff Funeral Home - Austin (1801 4th St NW, Austin, MN 55912). Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
