It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Ann Wannarka of Austin, Minnesota, who passed away on February 14, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Majerus and Viola Majerus (Meek); her husband Donald Wannarka; her siblings, Dorothy Mandt, Mary Lou Majerus, Patricia Taylor, Ron Majerus and Gary Majerus; and her son-in-law Casper Schwalbe.

She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Jo Schwalbe of Bemidji, MN, Stacie Wannarka of Rochester, MN and Ranee Farlinger (Darcy) of Spring Valley, MN; her granddaughters, Audrey and Merredith; her sisters, Janice Teich and Janet Haldorson; and her sister-in-law Pam Majerus. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Augustine Catholic Church (407 4th St NW, Austin, MN 55912). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
