She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick William and Anna Cecilia Benson (Sorberg); and her brothers, Nile and Willie. She is survived by: her sister Joanne Skumatz of Edina; and her nieces and nephews, Kurt Benson (Darlene) of Blackduck, Mark Benson (Debra) of Blackduck, Gail Lidinsky of Florida and Annie Morin (Shane).
