She was predeceased by: her parents, Aime Gauthier and Ruth Gauthier (Mason); her husband Floyd Merrill; and her siblings, Rita, Peggy and Dennis.

She is survived by: her daughters, Yvette Rucker, Sandra Merrill-Hartenstein (Tazsmonn), Shari Lammey (Kenny), Carmen Neus (Mike), Heidi Schreiner (Jim) and Rebecca Higgins (Stephen); and her sisters, Marian and Linda. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
