He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Maki and Elma Maki (Wiirre); his brothers, Kenny "Chubby" and Edward Maki; and his sisters-in-law, Judy Maki and Kathy Coy.
He is survived by: his wife Debbie; his daughters, Polly Johnson (Chris) of Woodbine, GA, Bobbi Maki of Aurora and Brenda Skelton (Chad) of Aurora; his grandchildren, Reid Lesar, Aili, Will Johnson, Lydia, Carter and Aubree Skelton; his brother Eugene Maki of Negaunee, MI; his sisters-in-law, Carol and Lois Maki; and his pet Annie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Savior's Lutheran Church (302 S 2nd St E, Aurora, MN 55705). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
