Sally A. Virkus Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sally A. Virkus (Aurora, Minnesota), who passed away on April 29, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Muriel LaPlant and Henry LaPlant; her husband Philip Edward Virkus; her daughters, Nora Lonnquist (Kirk), Mary Hackey (Lance), Jean Muhich (John), Lois Virkus and Ruth Virkus (Ben Layne); her grandchildren, Thomas Hackey (Jaclyn), David Hackey, Molly Power (Robert), Emma Holliday (Dojo), Gregory and Audrey Lonnquist; her great grandchildren, Evelyn Power, Cora Power, Remi Power, Amelia Hackey and Sarah Hackey; her brothers, Michael (Kookie) and Timothy LaPlant (Marie); her son John; and her siblings, Patricia, Henry and Terence. She was also cherished by twin; and many nieces, nephews, and dearly loved in-laws.
