He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Sr. Ceglar and Jean Ceglar (O'Brien); his daughter Cindy Ceglar; and his sister Mary Jo Koski. He is survived by: his son Brian Ceglar (Kristi) of Hoyt Lakes; his grandchildren, Maryssa Koch (Tyler) of Gilbert, Brenna, Kada and Rhys Ceglar of Hoyt Lakes; his siblings, Bonnie Jones (John) of Hoyt Lakes, Anthony "Butch" Ceglar (Joanne) of Aurora, Jeanne Ceglar (John Jamnick) of Aurora and John Ceglar of Woodbury; and his former wife Toni Ceglar of Mt. Iron. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
