It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edward J Modetz (Aurora, Minnesota), who passed away on January 18, 2019, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Modetz and Julia Modetz (Elizabeth); and his siblings, Frank, Henry and Julia.
He is survived by: his spouse Elizabeth Basuris; his daughter Elizabeth Kultzow (Robert) of Carlsbad; his granddaughters, Suzanne Hosticka (Mark) of Aurora and Kristine Kultzow of Fairfield; his great grandchildren, Bradley and Zoe; and his stepchildren, Nancy Wolf and John Method. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family asks that in leu of flowers, donations be made to the Mesabi East High School Athletics Department.
