He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Ingrid Akins; his siblings, Rosemarie Haight (Tim) and Raymond Akins (Joann); his niece Sheena (Travis); his nephews, Reggie (Jennie) and Anthony (Laurie); his siblings-in-law, Tony Miller (Joy), Shirley Kleppe (Donny), Hazel Maki (Rico) and Karen Miller; his daughter KayLa Kaldahl (Pat); his granddaughters, Kori and Kristin Kaldahl; his husband Dean Miller; his mother Ingrid Alford (Ken); and his brother-in-law Jerry Miller. He was also cherished by aunts, uncles and many cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Sons of the American Legion in Aurora, Minnesota.
