He was predeceased by: his parents, Holman Hood and Regina Eleanor Hood (Rogers); his sister Susan; and his niece Wanda. He is survived by: his sisters, Patricia and LInda; his wife Sheila Ann Hood (Kirkpatrick); his children, Holman John Douglas Hood and Erika Mae (Hood); his stepchildren, Lisa Marie (Chappo), McCormick and Martin Chappo; and his grandchildren, Dylan Hood, Jordan Ames, Kaylee Ames, Duncan McCormick and Mikiaela Meyer (McCormick).
