He is survived by: his wife Lois; his children, Cynthia Jensen (Roger), Sandra Pavelka (John), Michelle Lundorff (Bruce) and Robert Sahlen (Donna); and his sister Doris. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
