With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Everett Thinesen of Askov, Minnesota, born in Sandstone, Minnesota, who passed away on December 7, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Joann; his parents, John Thinesen and Dora Thinesen; and his siblings, Rex, Ralph, Phil (Inez) and May (Ivan).
He is survived by: his children, Sarah Nelson (Gary) and Mike Thinesen (Dana); his grandchildren, Danielle, John Michael, Nicole, Tyler and Andrew; and his great grandchild Amari. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
Memorial gifts will be donated to Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Askov, MN.
