He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Mortensen and Minnie Mortensen. He is survived by: his wife Sally Kelch; and his children, Randy Mortensen (Cindy), Julie Saxe (Pete), Wendy Best (Rob) and David Mortensen (Sandy). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and extended family.
