He was predeceased by: his parents, Aleck Knapp and Frances Knapp (Swintek); his wives, Barbara Knapp (Nedegaard), Judy Knapp (Dammann) and Mona Knapp (Maxwell); his sisters, Pauline Knapp, Lorraine Knapp and Barb; and his stepson Gregory Allen Knapp.
He is survived by: his children, Scott Knapp (Pam) and Debbie O'Connor (Sean); his grandchildren, Tamara Potter (Brent), Jonathon Knapp, Brennan Knapp (Ali), Zachary O'Connor (Hannah), Justin O'Connor (Ashlee), Christian O'Connor and Madigan O'Connor; his great grandchildren, Destiny, Alyssa Muehlbauer, Zoey, Ava, Peyton and Logan O'Connor; and his sister Dorothy Bolme.
