It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Hanson (Ashby, Minnesota), born in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, who passed away on October 16, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father James Hanson; his siblings, Joan Hanson and Jerald Hanson; and his son Dallas Hanson. He is survived by: his mother Violet Hanson (Ellingson); his wife Charlotte; his children, Travis Hanson (Michelle) of Elk River, Doyle Hanson (Katie), Bruce Hanson of Big Lake and Beth Hanson; his grandchildren, Cora Skelton, Will Skelton, Nathan Hanson, Amy Hanson and Brody Hanson; and his siblings, Neil Hanson (Elaine) of Sauk Rapids, Gene Hanson (Darla) of Elbow Lake, Robert Hanson of Elida, Daryl Hanson (Pam) of Fergus Falls and Joyce Hanson of Evansville. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
