He is survived by: his sons, Dan Herrmann (Jane) and Bill Heimkes; his children-in-law, Doug Ernst and Kathy Herrmann; his grandchildren, Melanie Cargill, Mark Herrmann (Heather), Joshua Wurzberger (Krista), Luke Meier (Kelsey), Jared Christensen, Logan Christensen (Ashley), Emily Goettl (Mason) and Abby Heimkes; his great grandchildren, Austin, Dakota, Trenton, Trevor, Brianna, Wyatt, Blakely, Archer, Ashlynn, Kailynn, Jordyn, Carter, Cashten and Theodore; his sister LauraAnn VanEyll; his sister-in-law JoAnn Heimkes; and his extended family, Ann Zieher, Scott Zeiher (Colleen) and Corey Zeiher (Jana).
