He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Burtyk and Mabel Burtyk (Rucks); and his niece Christine Kistner. He is survived by: his children, Jamie Tupa (Mike) and Joshua Burtyk (Ashley); his siblings, Jeanne Kistner (Duane) and Fred "Fritz" Burtyk; his close friend Roy Nordhausen; and his grandchildren, Racheal Kamps, Devan Tupa and Calan Burtyk. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers a nominal donation is preferred.
