She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Thomes and Agatha Thomes (Kreger); her former husband Norbert J. Brau of Lucan, MN; her sons, Bruce Brau and Dr. Bill Brau; and her siblings, Karl Thomes, Ralph Thomes, Josephine "Sis" Gilhausen and Rita Melsha.
She is survived by: her husband Norb; her children, Dr. Steven Brau (Susie) of Mason City, Iowa, Patty Mangen (Frank) of Plymouth, MN, Dan Brau (Angela) of Chaska, MN and Rob Brau (Angie) of Arlington, MN; her daughter-in-law Rhonda Brau; her grandchildren, Jamie, Lindsey, Katie, Molly, Logan, Briana, Danielle, Matthew, Joseph, Megan, Leyton, Kerigan and Pierson; and her brother Joe Thomes of Arlington, MN..
Due to the COVID~19 restrictions, a private Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a. m. Saturday, August 29th at St. Mary's Catholic Church, followed by an interment at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
