With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Ess of Arlington, Minnesota, who passed away on July 8, 2022 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Bleichner and Mary Bleichner (Schmitt); her husband Robert Ess; her sister Elizabeth; her brothers-in-law, Edward Rein and Vernon Heutmaker; her brother Clarence; her sister-in-law Diane Bleichner; her sister Katherine; her brother-in-law Edward Reed; her brother John Bleichner (Jackie); and her brother-in-law Elmer Carlson.

She is survived by: her children, Jerry Ess (Darlene) of Kilkenny, MN and Nancy Henkel (Michael) of Hamburg; her grandchildren, Cody, Kayla, April, Hunter and Robert "R. J."; her siblings, Marion Heutmaker, James Bleichner, Thomas Bleichner (Susan Heinen), Irene Carlson and Jean; her brother-in-law Gary Brink; and her sister Patricia Lueck. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
