He is survived by: his wife Beatrice Kern; his children, Nathan Zellmann (Stacy) of Brownton and Renja DeGroff (Adam) of Castle Rock, CO; his grandchildren, Alyssa, Taryn, Peyton Zellmann, Savannah and Kaitlyn DeGroff; and his siblings-in-law, Al Olson, Waldemar Kern (Gretta) and Barbara Smith. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
