She is survived by: her children, Greg Hardel (Lori) of Hutchinson, Tim Hardel (Kathy) of Arlington, Tammy Heimkes (Dave) of Emmett, Dan Hardel (Amy) of Montgomery and Tara Whitmore (Jeff) of Redwood Falls; her grandchildren, Tanya Hoffmann (Chad), Matt Hardel, Lia Malecha (Craig), Michael Lehman (Stacie), Nathan Hardel (Bethany), Brielle Pettit (Simon), Letitia Zodrow (Ricky), Lindsay Heimkes, Lacie Wright (Adam), Isaac Heimkes, Morgan Krajco (Calvin), Luke Hardel, Allie Hardel, Jenna Whitmore and Nicole Whitmore; and her siblings, Martha Miller (Bob), Merle Laird, Harold Elder (Peggy), Mary Garoutte, Dave Elder (Val), Les Elder and Charles Elder (Lisa). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
