She was predeceased by: her husband Arnie; her son Joel; her parents, John Michaelis and Lydia Michaelis; her siblings, Eleanor Trocke (Everil), Marvin and Duane Michaelis; and her parents-in-law, Alfred and Lydia Tews.
She is survived by: her daughter Debra Lueck (Mark); her grandchildren, Michael Lueck (Bridget), Calen Thompson (Tom) and Ryan Lueck (Elizabeth); her great grandchildren, Rylie, Trey, Kennedy Lueck, Tate, Tucker Thompson and Henry Lueck; and her sisters-in-law, Norma Michaelis, Elaine Thies and Evelyn Hellwig. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In the community, she was a member of the Arlington Mixers Extension Group, American Cancer Society, Arlington Garden Club, Sibley Medical Center Auxiliary, and several card and coffee groups.
