He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Giesen and Marian Giesen (Bisek); his siblings, Martin William Giesen, Ann Giesen and Martin Mathias Giesen; his siblings-in-law, Jayne Giesen and John Sylwester; and his parents-in-law, Warren Uecker and Sharon Schilling.
He is survived by: his wife Robin Uecker; his children, Brittany Wojtowicz (Dylan), Nate Giesen (Alexa) and Brielle Giesen; his grandchildren, Jack, Henry and Ellie; his siblings, Mary Sylwester, Mike Giesen (Sharon), Maury Giesen (Dawn), Vic Giesen, Jerry Giesen, Carol Skiba (Neil), Ruth Kruger (Roger), Polly McCullough (Andy), Matt Giesen (Jan), Janny Burkhartzmeyer (Barry), Nick Giesen (Larysa), Andy Giesen (Teresa) and Amy Molva (Chad); his mother-in-law Marlene Uecker; and his siblings-in-law, Mark Uecker, Corey Uecker (Miranda) and Kim Uecker. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
