He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Welin and Ethel Welin (Stanghelle); his children, Lloyd Welin and Karen Anderson; and his grandchildren, Amy Welin and Whitney Welin.
He is survived by: his wife Frances; his sons, Robert Welin (Rochelle), John Welin, Roger Welin (Nancy) and Eric Welin (Jennifer); his children-in-law, Julie Welin and Mike Anderson; and his sisters, Bonnie Johnson (George), Doris Oase and Ann Lemon (Jim). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
