He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Heggen and Katherine Heggen (Gulbranson); and his daughter Michelle Ross. He is survived by: his former wife Marjorie Veralrud; his wife Patty; his children, Steve Heggen (Rachel), Dana Bergeron, Victoria Bunn (Jason), Kimberly St (Wade) and Aaron Heggen; and his brothers, John (Linda) and Ken Heggen (Pat). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to Hospice of the Red River Valley, whose staff took care of Ed the last nine months of his life.
