He was predeceased by: his stepfather David Schultz; his nephew Cody Fernald; and his parents, Rex Fernald and Phyllis Fernald. He is survived by: his siblings, Rex Fernald (Karen), Polly Froehlich (Dan) and David Fernald (Luis); and his nieces and nephews, Amy Hertle (Ben), Julie Crompton (Sean), Sarah Froehlich, Shaun Citrowski (Desi) and Rex-Dallas Fernald (Julianna). He is also survived by six Grandnieces, two Grandnephews, and many friends.
