It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mel Boehland (Arden Hills, Minnesota), born in Bertha, Minnesota, who passed away on October 7, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Pat; his daughters, Juanita (Mark Appleton), Sarah (Andy Wilke) and Suzanne Boehland; his stepsons, Jason Maltzen (Tess Snyder) and Andrew Maltzen (Kirsten); and his brothers, Virgil Boehland (Lila) and Lyle Boehland (Marie Englebrecht). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Mel's desire is that people dress in bright colors and wear masks.
