She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jack Jouppe and Mildred Jouppe; her siblings, Vernice, Joan, Donald and David; her aunt Florence Merrill (Barberg); her former husband Ernest Ludwig; her husband Ernie; her son Mark Ludwig (Lorie); her grandchildren, Erich and Christa; her son Dale Ludwig (Gayle); and her grandchildren, Karl, Jennifer McLaughlin (Alex), Emma and Derek. She was also cherished by many other relatives and friends.
