We are sad to announce that on March 16, 2023, at the age of 92, Laurence Francis McDonald of Arden Hills, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia McDonald; his parents, Charles McDonald and Loretta McDonald; and his brothers, Sam and Bill McDonald.

He is survived by: his children, Linda McDonald (Marney), Lori "Lu" Ketz (Brad), Shawn Gates (Mark) and Tim McDonald (Karen); his grandchildren, Brenden, Connor, Brogan, Max, Katie, Michael and Leighton; his sister-in-law Virginia McDonald; and his nieces and nephews, Jackie, Tom, Michelle, Melissa and Noelle. He is also survived by relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in his name to the Mayo Clinic Department of Development.
