He was predeceased by: his brother Arthur (Diane); and his sister-in-law Lorretta Theisen. He is survived by: his wife Veronica "Vickie"; his children, Jackie Bowdich (Chris), Steve (Susan) and Jeff (Corrine); his grandchildren, Mike, Ashley Calderwood (Jamie), Liz Bowdich, Trenton and Erika Mathison; and his siblings-in-law, Delores Guthmueller (Gene), Paul Theisen (Carol) and Arnold Theisen. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.
