He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Krueth and Hazel Krueth (Conrad); his wife Phyllis Heyer; and his siblings, Elsie, Marie, Victor, Erma, Burton, Lena, Gordon and Elmer.

He is survived by: his children, Lyle (Minneapolis) and Marilyn Stenslie (Rod); his grandchildren, Tara Eckel (Nathan) of Dallas, TX and Darren Stenslie (Stephanie) of Houston, TX; his great grandchildren, Jaden, Camden, Elliana and Emerie; and his sister Lois Skar of Stoughton, WI. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
