He is survived by: his children, Danny, Brenda Carpenter (Warren) of Park Rapids and Dan Hoffman (Julie) of Worland, WY; his grandchildren, Alexa (Hoffman), Jeremy Davis of St. Joseph, Dane Hoffman of New Ulm and Krista Carpenter of Moorhead; his great grandchildren, Rory and Thea Davis; his stepgreat-granddaughter Danielle Davis; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Hoffman of Benson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
