He was predeceased by: his parents, Manville Schliemann and Renetta Schliemann (Munsterman); his daughter Lonetta "Cricket" Hoffman; his grandchildren, Candace "Candy" Bruzak, Tina Bruzak and Aaron Kehoe; his sister Eunice Sachs; his brother-in-law Erland Wateland; and his nephew Miles Thomas.
He is survived by: his children, Sandy Haugen (Ron) of Coval, WV, Roxanne Olson (Gary) of Coon Rapids, Suzette Schliemann, Myron Schliemann Jr. of Appleton and Kari Appenzeller (Erik) of Appleton; his siblings, Donna Anderson (Gene) of Benson, Lorene Thomas of Lenard, ND and Alan Schlieman (Jean) of Benson; and his brother-in-law Arlyn Sachs of Otsego, MN. He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren; his 5 great-grandchildren.
