The memory of Jeannette Muriel Bergstad of Appleton, Minnesota, who passed away on March 5, 2025 at the age of 90, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Olander Swenson and Luella Swenson (Perseke); her husband Bill; her grandson Jordan William Stock; her children-in-law, Mark Steffen and Mary Bergstad; her brother Orville; her siblings-in-law, Hilda Swenson, Wayne Bergstad, Lavaine and Warren Utz; and also, Aslak and Theresa Bergstad.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Steffen of Benson, Peggy Heglund (Scott) of Granite Falls, Beverly Stock (Jeffrey) of North Mankato and Brad Bergstad of Farmington; her grandchildren, Amy Ackman (Timothy) of Owatonna, Jocelyn DeSutter (Timothy) of North Mankato, Jacob Stock (Cassie) of North Mankato, Allison Wilson (Nicholas) of Mankato, Joey Heglund (Becca) of Anchorage, AK, Robert Bergstad of Eagan, Dylan Bergstad of Jordan and Nicholas Bergstad of Farmington; her great grandchildren, Erin, Mike, Cooper Ackman, Madison, Kael, Jiles DeSutter, Brynna, Alexa, Chloe Stock, Jaylyn, Kayler, Linc, Caris, Denna Wilson, Ezra and Sebastion Heglund; her siblings, Garry Swenson (Ethel) and Corrine Knochenmus (Gary); and her sister-in-law Norma Bergstad. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church-Appleton (23 E Rooney Ave, Appleton, MN 56208). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at the Appleton City Cemetery (120 W Schlieman Ave, Appleton, MN 56208).
